On December 5th, 1945 a group of 14 men in five Grumman TBM Avenger torpedo bombers, flew out of Naval Air Station Fort Lauderdale (now FLL). Their assignment was to fly a three-legged triangular route with a few practices runs near the Bahamas. Mysteriously, all 14 airmen on the flight were lost, as were all 13 crew members of a Martin PBM Mariner flying boat that subsequently launched from Naval Air Station Banana River to search for Flight 19. This story has prompted the Bermuda Triangle Theory and is still considered one of the great aviation mysteries of all time. This restaurant seeks to honor the memory of Flight 19 and maintain the art of storytelling.
A special thanks to of the Naval Air Station Fort Lauderdale Museum which has been instrumental in preserving the memory of Flight 19. 4000 West Perimeter Rd. Fort Lauderdale, FL 33315 (954) 359-4400

Fantastic service and drinks! We went on Friday night and they had live acoustic music. Great addition to the Las Olas area! We will definitely return!
— Veronica, Fort Lauderdale
Wonderful new spot!! Stumbled in here after wandering Las Olas and LOVED everything we ordered!
— Patricia, Lambertville
The food and service were fantastic, I’ve added Flight 19 to my Fort Lauderdale must eat list for anytime I visit. The shrimp and grits with cauliflower polenta was delightfully unexpected.
